SINGH Foundation is named for a late friend; SINGH also stands for Secular India's National Growth and Harmony.
We are a small foundation that tries to do a lot for its size: Our activities include tours of North America by Indian filmmakers, academics and activists; grants to grassroots groups in India; relief work; resource center; fiscal sponsorship of South Asian community groups in the U.S.

We have joined with Action for a Progressive Pakistan
to help Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Pakistan,
more than 3 million of whom fled the violence in the Swat region.
SINGH Foundation matched every donation dollar for dollar till we met our target of $10,000.
Your donations are, of course, tax-deductible to the fullest legal extent.
We have so far sent $10,000 to Sungi Development Foundation,
a progressive organization working in NWFP for more than a decade.
